On the road in Miami, the No. 23 Florida State Seminoles got a magnificent game from O'Mariah Gordon and late-game heroics from Makayla Timpson in their 83-82 win over the rival Miami Hurricanes. Gordon stepped up with Ta'Niya Latson sitting out and scored a career-high 34 points on 14-22 shooting with 7 assists in the win. Gordon repeatedly came through when Brooke Wyckoff and FSU needed it most. Timpson finished with 22 points on 9-12 shooting to go along with 9 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists and a blocked shot while Sydney Bowles added 18 points. Haley Cavinder continued her assault on the ACC, scoring a team-high 27 points on 10-16 shooting with 8 rebounds, and 7 assists in a losing effort.
