Florida Trail NOBO from Ellaville Day 1, Feb 12, 2025 Wed, to Mill Creek Campsite 9.4 mi

Left Econo Lodge in Live Oak and shuttled 13 miles West on SR 90 to the FT Trailhead at Ellaville nobo mm 675.6 on the Suwannee River. I then hiked 9.4 miles to Mill Creek North Campsite. Luckily, the trail maintainers recently cleared this section or it would have been extremely difficult hiking around and over all the downed trees. The hike along the Suwannee River was beautiful and I'm camped at the last place on it and will be heading West away from it tomorrow and beginning a 50+ mile roadwalk. I've planned only 9.9 miles to Madison Midway Church for tomorrow, so shouldn't be very difficult.
