Video Not Working? Fix It Now

This cheerful sunflower quilt is going to receive another layer of floral beauty - I’m going to quilt it edge to edge with a hibiscus-like design. Really it’s a casual floral that could resemble any number of flowers, but I chose it because it provide a pretty even texture all over the quilt. Watch the entire video to see how free motion quilting can make this completion step incredibly fast, while still achieving quilting as personal as handwriting. Topics include: - loading the quilt. This time it's entirely with pins, but still using my signature no-measure and FAST method. - discussing thread color for the high contrast light yellow/dark brown fabrics - squaring up as I do the basting on each pass - free motion quilting my Hibiscus design, and a focus on the best way to move around the work area without quilting yourself into a corner. I chat throughout the process, sharing my decisions and my “whys”, and taking your questions as well.
