Since installing the Flowmaster HP2's #12412409 on the 1970 Dodge Dart with the 408ci stroker engine, I really wanted to test the sound levels in the car going down the highway to see if indeed these did make a difference and low and behoe it actually did make the interior quieter although the mufflers do end just behind the drivers and passenger's seat, so making it sompletely quiet would be near impossible. The drone part is gone and I'm able to talk to the person sitting next to me. It will allow me to finally turn the radio on and hear music once more...lol I'm also going to guess that the longer 18" mufflers would have been proably better, but I do love the sound of these Flowmaster HP2's shorties, but these came highly recommended and I would recommend them as well if you don't mind the sound of the 50's mufflers then these are for you. I used the Synco G2 wireless lav microphones. and these are fully adjustale for the best sound, remember they are adjustable. The sound you hear in the main part of the vehicle IS the actual sound I hear when I drive this beast. Song playing in background is called Front Porch Drinking Written by Austin Crawford
