This tutorial shows a high-temperature fluid flow in a pipe through a T-Section and the effect of temperature on the Pipe Material. The deformation of the pipe caused due to the fluid temperature has been analyzed. The temperature distribution effect from the ANSYS Fluent has been used as a thermal load in the pipe body Structural analysis. The pipe deflection and equivalent stress and thermal strain have been found. What will you learn from this Tutorial? - Creating a T-Section in ANSYS Design Modeller - Use of shell/Thicken Option. - Use of fill option to fill the pipe with another domain. - Global and Local Meshing - Creating a link between fluent and static structural - Solver set up in Fluent - Solver setup in static structural. - CFD post-processing - Static Structural Post-processing
