The older I get, the less tolerable the Wisconsin winters become, so I always like to schedule a long weekend getaway somewhere warmer to go ride some bikes! This year, I'm traveling to the Bay Area to visit Rivendell, ride with the San Fransisco Randonneurs and explore Alpine Rd outside of Palo Alto. My Rivendell All-Rounder is the perfect bike for this trip, but first I've got to get it there. I'm boxing it up in my Coroplast bike box, throwing it on a plane and heading straight to RBW HQ to reassemble it and meet the guys who make it all happen! What a cool way to kick off a weekend getaway!
