In this Shelfside Review, we munch into Food Chain Magnate, a heavy Euro-styled tabletop board game developed by Splotter games, where players are CEOs of their own companies, hiring employees, training them, and using employees to produce fast food products to sell all across the map. As a CEO, you’ll be managing your hand of employees, price manipulating to sell as much as possible, and estimating how big the banks are. The game boasts a highly modular board, simultaneous action selection, and a winner-takes-all mentality when selling to each house.
Is this expensive, hard to find Splotter game worth the time and effort it takes to get to the table? How about how it will treat your brain? How do we feel about it personally (we love the theme)? Watch to the end to find out!
