Every wedding includes an exchanging of vows meant to solidify one’s commitment to the other. And while the words in the ceremony are heartfelt, their true definition is revealed through the circumstances that follow. More often than not, when the circumstances arise, the culture around us cries out for comfort and convenience rather than commitment. But in the “better and worse” of marriage, the example of Jesus is what teaches us how to increase our commitment when comfort is nowhere to be found. By God’s power vows aren’t just heartfelt exchanges for a day, but become holy commitments for life.
In our mission to connect people to Jesus and one another, Southeast Christian Church has grown into a unified multisite community. We have multiple campuses serving the specific needs of the areas in which they are located, while receiving centralized leadership and teaching from the Blankenbaker Campus in Louisville, KY.
