Symptoms
- #2 cylinder misfire
- intermittent misfiring from other cylinders
- run okay at WOT and idle
- no misfiring with Spout connector unplugged
Fix
- replace faulty distributor pick-up assembly

- how to verify weak spark with an in-line spark tester
- how to test the PIP and SPOUT signals with a lab scope
- how to test coil primary current to verify a dwell time problem
