It's common for ford to have a faulty actuator, inside the latch is all made of plastic and spring that in time tends to break. The car used in this video is a 2015 Ford Ecosport. This same lock goes for 2014-2018 Fiesta, Escape, Focus, Edge, Fusion, Ranger and many more Ford. The same lock is also used for Volvo V60 and S60 as well as Lincoln MKX 2012-2018, same part different manufacturers.
