Welcome back to the Forgotten Railway Stories! This series will cover the stories of forgotten train stations, rolling stock, locomotives, and derailments that no one knows of!
Episode 5 is about a short-lived commuter train that Amtrak created to serve all of the big businesses in the mid-atlantic and D.C. areas of the US. It used quite the unexpected choice of equipment, but it was the only option they had. This train was Amtrak's first ever train to use leased equipment from another railroad. It was their only other option considering their early locomotives weren't great at all. Welcome to... Amtrak's Leased Arrow EMU Cars - The Chesapeake Route!
