Truly one interesting job! I really never know what's going to found in somebody's closet, their garage, or buried at the bottom of a random box. This story is no different, the person who owned this stuff was a Western Air mechanic in the 1980s who's father flew airplanes looking for gold in Alaska. While searching his garage trying to find all the treasures at the very back of the garage covered underneath multiple pieces of plastic tarp, was what looked to be a moonshine maker or distiller of some kind. Once I started to uncover it my mind actually couldn't even process what I was looking at. As I started to focus and look at this thing in detail I said oh my goodness it's an entire freaking airplane engine and then I put my hand on it and realized that it was on a rotating stand. Then come to find out it was a Navy engine and a true piece of mechanical art and history for that matter. It wasn't too difficult finding somebody to drive over and grab it quickly! Along with that #navy #engine he also scored a #cessna #motor and a bunch of extra parts to go with it. My goal with this business is not to get rich off every single piece, but the opportunity to reconnect specific items with the people who will cherish them the most. Always dreaming of #treasurehunting and #picking gone wild! Onto the next. #subcribe #youtubechannel #algorithm #thrifthaul #auction #wright #ww2
