Ukranian/Australian Botanist Antonius Moscal (1928-2017) travels by raft down the course of the Franklin River for three weeks in 1980.
He begins at Lake Hermione and experiences both its tranquil beauty and turbulent power.
A rare view of a wild and inaccessible river with a final eerie message:
“The Tasmanian Government is now debating the Hydro-Electric Commission’s proposal to dam the Franklin River”.
