In short, to operate a professional business email you'll need 2 things. A domain name and a web server. While web servers can be acquired for free, a domain name can't. So, the minimal requirement for ANY business email address is simply having a domain name.

You can use a free server like Zoho or a web server that you most likely already pay for, like Hostinger, Bluehost, SiteGround, etc. Basically anywhere where you already host your business website. Or you can go with a dedicated route and get a private IP address from services like Gsuite (reducing the risk of ending up in the SPAM folder).
When it comes to email hosting, there are basically only several things you need to think about:
1. How many inboxes do I need?
2. How many emails will I be sending?
And then choose a service based on these numbers. I have encountered issues with emails landing in the SPAM folder when using free providers. That's why I switched to Gsuite, but for 75% of beginners, a free service will work fine for years if you're not actively spamming. And just using it as a regular email service.
