This is another pure French Train Layout. Everything is French. The trains running are all JEP. Again I have made all the scenery and used the same technique of balsa strips and shiny blue paper to fill the gaps between the tables. Lots of bridges and the requisite Eiffel Tower, made out of Meccano.
Actually, it is an an American bounce tram that runs along the ridge.
Also the underground station is an exact model of Museum Station in Sydney, but Paris has a Musee station!
This was disassembled, packed up, transported to an exhibition, set up in about 6 hours, used for 2 days, then disassembled in less than 2 hours and packed into the wagons
Again this was a great layout to build and was very satisfying, no points, few derails and everything in reach.
Many will note that i do a lot reuse. All the items are stacked in shelves in the background, so it takes minimal time to build and scenerise. There are containers of all sorts of things, one picks up the container and distributes its contents around the layout.
Did you notice the Hand of God resurrecting the telegraph pole, it had fallen into to bad ways!
