and Welcome to a Guava Recipes Special Episode of @RedSoilStories
Pooja had gone to the farm early in the morning. She harvested many Guava ( पेरू ) from the farm. They were raw as well as Ripen. She returned home while I was working in the backyard. I asked her to make us some breakfast and she prepared a delicious Guava Drink ( पेरूचे पन्हे ) and Guava Starfruit Salad. We both had the breakfast and I went to the farm.
Next day Pooja decided to prepare more Guava Recipes. She first prepared Spicy Guava Gravy ( Guava Curry ) ( पेरूचे पंचामृत ) for the lunch which can be eaten with Bhakri, Chapati etc. She packed the gravy in a tiffin for a neighboring granny who was ill. I delivered the tiffin to her. After lunch she prepared Guava Barfi ( पेरू बर्फी ) which turned out to be a delicious one.
