For today's Tutorial, I stepped out of my comfort zone and used Seed Beads.
Yes, If you've been following me since my TV days, then you'll know I do NOT get on with seed beads, pesky little whatnots.
BUT I really enjoyed designing this project, using 6/0 and 11/0 beads to create these inexpensive earrings.
You'll need 6/0, 11/0 beads, headpins (20) plus around 18" of 1.25mm (16g) round wire. I've gone for copper wire and gold plated headpins, with a delightful colour combination of gold and red for the beads.
You can switch out the 11/0s for more 6/0s if you prefer, but I really like the size graduation. Please be aware that not all 6/0 beads will easily slide onto that 1.25mm (16g) wire, but around 60% of my 6/0 beads did just fine. I reserved the smaller centred ones to use on the headpins.
Hope you enjoy the tutorial, and if you don't usually work with seed beads; do give this project a try as it's genuinely not tricky at all. Have a beautiful day, Jem xxx
