We have grown up in a time where weยดve really got to experience the full scale of the social media boom, alongside our road of self discovery, and who could imagine those sheepish glimpses of Queer As Folk would evolve into the fantastic community we have today.
We also talk about the importance of peeling back the layers of the onion and unmasking the parts of ourselves after we come out, that we may have diminished and hid up until that point as a defence mechanism in a heteronormative upbringing.
