When we experience brokenness in our lives it is often extremely painful and difficult. But the worst part of all is when we are broken and are then given a long to do list we need to complete in order to make ourselves "feel better". The truth is, brokenness is an opportunity God can use to show us our own inadequacy so that we will finally come to a point of surrender placing our trust not in ourselves, but in Christ. This is exactly how brokenness can lead to a surrendered life as God intended.
