Zulikha: a story of resistance, darkness and hope
This film narrates the true and inspiring story of Zulekha; A woman who is forced to leave her home after threatening Leila and the owner of the land. In order to find a shelter, he crossed the difficult and dangerous paths of the mountains and finally, with the support of the cameraman and dear viewers, he found a land to build his shelter. With an unbreakable will, he builds the cave step by step and builds a house in the heart of the mountain, hoping for better days.
But mountain nights are not always peaceful. On a stormy night, a group of bandits attack Zulikha's shelter. His only weapon is courage and love for his children, he fights to defend his home, but he is beaten and his life is robbed. Deep physical and mental scars remain on her, but Zulikha, who has always been indomitable, decides to overcome this darkness.
With the help of the operator, he informs the police and the local authorities promise to follow up. In the meantime, the operator, who sees Zuleikha's sadness and despair, gives her a sum of money to encourage her to stand on her feet again. Zulikha, feeling hope in her heart again, goes to the city and prepares to expand her shelter by buying food, shovels and picks.
On the way back, he carries the things on his shoulder and walks the long way from the village to the cave. Despite all the hardships, Zulikha eats hot food with her children and prepares herself to build a better future with renewed strength. This story is not only a narrator of pain and suffering, but also a testimony of steely will and hope that will never be extinguished.
