Artist Amy Lay lives on the ranch her great-grandparents homesteaded near Union, Oregon. From this remote location in the southern Wallowa Mountains, Amy draws inspiration from the rugged country, livestock and wildlife that surround her. Amy paints from memory in a loose, non-traditional style that draws audiences from all over North America into an intimate relationship with the wide-open western landscape she has known her whole life.
