Today, I’m kicking off a new chapter in my 3D printing journey! After years of printing with resin on my Elegoo printers—mainly creating detailed statues and busts inspired by Marvel, DC, and TMNT—I’ve decided to expand into FDM printing with the Bambu Lab X1C.
Things didn’t go quite as planned at first. The printer was delayed, and Bambu Lab shipped me only part of my filament order (still waiting on customer service for that). But once the printer arrived, it was time to unbox, set it up, and give it a try!
Join me as I show you my basement setup, including my resin workstation and ever-growing action figure and LEGO collection. Then we’ll finally get the Bambu Lab X1C running and test its first print!
