Joe Korzun, Data Scientist Consultant at Procogia presents on using SAS to R for medicine. Korzun starts by giving an introduction to SAS, R, and other R Packages, and also how they are currently used in the healthcare industry. He then gives basic navigation of the Rstudio including key features and uses. Korzun then follows with the five programming examples and gives a walk-through of several exercises using the R packages. In between exercises, Korzun provides more information and explanation on the following topics: reading in data, the Haven Package, data wrangling, data explorations, the Arsenal package, modeling data, and logistics regression. The presentation finishes off with a Q&A and extra resources.
