Join us as we make our way from Tokyo, Japan, to the beautiful coastal city of Busan, South Korea! In this episode, we share every detail of our arrival and first day in this vibrant destination.

Our adventure began at the Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo, where we ended our lovely stay. Little Avery was absolutely adorable; she said "thank you" in Japanese at checkout—what a sweet moment! With our luggage in tow, we hopped into a taxi for a quick ride to Tokyo Station.

Upon arrival at Tokyo Station, we encountered a slight challenge at the ticketing machines but were able to get our tickets to the airport over the counter. We love how user-friendly Tokyo Station is—the arrows guiding us to our destination made navigating the bustling station a breeze. The signs were crystal clear and efficient, even depicting the train car and color we should take, complete with helpful pictures!

Our journey continued as we boarded the Narita Express train bound for the airport, anticipating our flight to Busan. On our Korean Airlines flight, the crew charmed us by providing a toy for Avery, ensuring she was entertained throughout the journey.

As we touched down in Busan, we were greeted by slightly cloudy skies, but the day was still decent for exploring. We took a taxi from the airport to our stunning hotel, the Park Hyatt Busan. Nestled in a dramatic oceanfront location, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the iconic Gwangan Bridge and the Suyeongman Yacht Marina. With 269 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, the property boasts modern technology and premium amenities.

Once we settled in, I took the opportunity to do a room tour (and yes, I finally got a bit of my voice back!). We were excited to stay in the Park Executive Family Suite, an upgraded option perfectly tailored for our family. Entering the suite, we were greeted by a spacious living room featuring a comfortable couch, a working desk, and a dry bar stocked with complimentary cookies, a Nespresso machine, dishware, and a mini fridge.

The suite also boasts a convenient half bath with a bidet toilet—an incredibly thoughtful touch allowing us to keep Avery undisturbed during her naps. The main bathroom was so spacious—complete with a shower, double vanity, deep soaking tub, and even a TV! The walk-in closet with drawers added a luxury we appreciate, providing ample storage throughout our stay.

The highlight of the bedroom is the jaw-dropping view of Gwangan Bridge. This is undoubtedly the best view we’ve ever had from a hotel room!

After settling in, we ventured out to explore the local area and find a restaurant. Although the weather was a bit windy near the river, the beautiful tall buildings created an incredible backdrop. Our plan was to find a Korean ribs restaurant located inside a mall, but we ended up at a hotpot place instead, which turned out to be an excellent choice.

Stay tuned for more exciting adventures as we continue to explore the delights of Busan! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell so you won't miss any of our upcoming adventures in Korea!
