After a one-month break from live streams, we’re back. Join Emiko me as we check out one of Fukuoka’s most significant and highly anticipated new public spaces. It’s part of the unfolding Tenjin Big Bang, so let’s see if it has any pop! The 3,000 m2 plaza is on the former site of Daimyo Elementary School. Nearby The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka, commercial offices, and conference facilities will also open. But this weekend, January 21 (Sat.) and 22 (Sun.), a market event will be held in collaboration with “& LOCALS” and “Fuku Marché,” both of which focus on locally made for local consumption.

福岡大名ガーデンシティ、1月20日に広場オープン
大名小学校跡地で開発が進む福岡大名ガーデンシティ。今年4月に一部の店舗が開業予定だが、施設中央に位置する約3,000m2の広場は、1月20日（金）13時に先行オープンする。
福岡大名ガーデンシティには、ザ・リッツ・カールトン福岡、ハイグレードのオフィスやMICE機能も有するカンファレンス施設等がオープン予定。「Meet Synergy 門をくぐって次の福岡へ。」を施設全体のコンセプトに掲げ、門を抜けた先にある広場で、福岡のヒト・モノ・コトにこれまでにない交流や共鳴がおこり、まだ見ぬ発想や価値が生まれ、福岡にあるビジネスやライフスタイルのさらなる可能性を広げけていきたい、という思いが込められている。
また、1月21日（土）、22日（日）には、九州の地産地消にこだわる「& LOCALS」と「福マルシェ」のコラボによりマーケットイベントが開催される。
