March 2025's full moon (Mar 13-14) will be extra special. We are expecting a total lunar eclipse of the full worm moon, giving it the name "blood moon" due to its red color. Essentially as light passes through Earth's atmosphere, all the light of all the sunrises and sunsets will be cast upon the moon to make it look a red - orange color.
Hopefully we can have clear skies to see the eclipse.
