By 2010, we had been filming steam locomotives for twenty-five years. This program was the result: a four-hour reel of highlights covering the years 1985 to 2010. Part 1 covers through 1998.

The sequences are presented in chronological order, and present many scenes that will never be repeated. Examples include a 2-8-0 in daily freight service, N&W 611 at speed before the Dismal Swamp derailment that resulted in a 40mph speed limit, L&N 152 getting out on the mainline, and MUCH more.
