Full Service: Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter's memorial service in Atlanta

A second day of observances in honor of Rosalynn Carter on Tuesday will be highlighted by a tribute service this afternoon at which family and dignitaries alike will pay their respects to the former first lady and trailblazing mental health and caregiver advocate. Rosalynn Carter passed away at 96 years old on Nov. 19. Her remains traveled along with a family motorcade to Atlanta on Monday, where a repose service was held at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum. President Carter, along with other presidents, first ladies, and national and local officials and dignitaries will all be present at Tuesday's service, before the family returns to Plain Wednesday for a private funeral. Time and place The service is to be held at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church, which is at Emory University off North Decatur Road.
