Michael and Vlado share the most romantic, glamourous and love inspired Wedding of the decade and their "Perfect Duet" went viral throughout the Balkan Region!
The Adriatic Sea Riviera of Opatija Croatia is the backdrop for the magical matrimony of two international, bi-racial, gay soulmates and their family, friends and loved ones. The Great Golden Ballroom of the Hotel Imperial is the seat of the Wedding Gala while the Ceremony was held on the Terrace of the historic Kvarner Hotel.
Friends, family, loved ones and Military servicemembers came from all over the world to show their love and support and will forever hold a special place in Michael and Vlado's hearts.
It is not easy to stand up for love in a world that is filled with much hatred.
Michael and Vlado send a special thank you to the people of Opatija and Croatia. Every person that was involved in supporting their fantastic day showed so much love, care, and professionalism.
Sanela, the fabulous Croatian Wedding Coordinator was the absolute epitome of excellence! She collaborated on every fine and immaculate detail.
The Kusec Photography Team became a part of both Michael and Vlado's Family, full of encouragement, love and the eagles eye for the perfect moments!
The entire Liburnia Family were the most generous hosts, from the food to the endless flow of Croatian Wine and bubbles!
Michael’s Family traveled from the West Coast of the United States to Europe for their very first time and could not believe how wonderful Croatian culture and the people of Croatia were.
This was the experience of a LIFETIME!
Being different is never easy and like most of the gay community being gay has been a terrible struggle for Vlado and Michael their entire life.
However, on this special day, their humanity from around the world came together, under the umbrella of unconditional love and created a memory that will last in the hearts of everyone for eternity.
So these three things continue forever: faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love.
