Sarugakyo Onsen “Le Vent Vert Kokyo” in Gunma
Sarugakyo Onsen is a quiet hot spring resort located near Niigata Prefecture
and is one of the Minakami Onsen villages in Gunma Prefecture.
While there are many old onsen ryokan,
it was fully renovated into a high-class onsen inn in 2023.
Dinner is fully ordered and all inclusive.
This is a system not often seen elsewhere, but it is highly satisfying.
The facilities have been redesigned, and the smart, hotelier-like customer service is nice.
I recommend this inn to those seeking a quiet, one-rank-above holiday.
