So although we will be looking at a wide variety of fungi in this series, most of you are here to learn about mushrooms, as they are the most interesting members of the fungi kingdom. So let's learn about the structure of a mushroom. What are its features? What do they do? How do they differ from one species to another? Let's learn about the morphology of a mushroom now.
Script by William Marcus
Much of the mushroom photography was provided by Stephen Axford of Planet Fungi. For more dazzling footage check out Stephen's fungi safari in the forests of the Himalayas documenting over 200 species of mushrooms! I'm serious, it's incredible, go watch the trailer: https://www.planetfungi.movie/
