The Australian Open joke made by a Channel Nine reporter, aimed at the Novak Djokovic and his supporters, has backfired for the host broadcaster with ten-time tournament winner, and the greatest male player of all time, refusing to speak to the channel until they issue an apology.
It's not the first time Djokovic has been at the centre of an Australian Open storm not of his making...only two years ago he was deported by the Australian government who used him in a publicity stunt during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
