Gabled Porch Build DIY Updated

With some help from my wife, my friends, YouTube videos and a lot of prayer, I was able able to build a front porch with a gabled roof. I'm retired from being a network systems engineer, so I'm not a professional carpenter, but I did get a permit and it passed all 3 inspections here in Tennessee.

My materials cost was $8,500, including paying the roofers $2,600.
