Since winter is here, enjoying fresh Gajar (Carrot) and Matar (Peas) in meals every other day has become a customary delight in every Indian household.
The natural sweetness of these fresh #wintervegetables makes them an unavoidable part of lunch or dinner.
In this video, I’ve prepared #gajarmatarkisabji in two simple yet flavourful variants:
1️⃣ A classic home-style #GajarMatar, perfect for everyday comfort.
2️⃣ A spicy Gajar Matar Wadi version, enhanced with my Chop Masala and delectable Amritsari Wadi, ideal for those who crave a zesty twist.
Ingredients:
Gajar Matar ki sabzi
1. 1/2 kg gajar
2. 1/2 kg Matar
3. 2 small onions sliced
4. 2 tbspns Adrak
5. Salt to taste
6. Red chilli powder 1/2 tspn
7. Haldi 3/4 tspn
8. Garam Masala 1/4 tspn
9. Oil
10. Desi Ghee
11. Dhaniya
12. Hara pyaaz
Gajar Matar wadiyan
1/2 cup Amritsari Vadiyan
2. 1 tbspn Desi Ghee
3. 3 tbspn chop Masala
4. 1 tspn ginger garlic paste
5. Salt to taste
6. 1/2 tspn Haldi
7. 1 tspn Dhaniya powder
8. Hara pyaaz
9. Dhaniya
10. 1/2 tspn Garam Masala
Jowar ki roti
1. 1/2 cup jowar ka aata
2. 3/4 cup Hot Water
3. 1 spoon Ghee
4. 1/2 tspn salt
