Our first game under the Omega 1.03 house rules, which are designed to balance the game a little more in favor of the Allies and reduce the power of the J1 attack. Here, Germany abandons the G1 Sea Lion threat for an all-out G1 attack on Russia, utilizing new military base and paratrooper rules. Meanwhile, Japan launches a traditional J1 attack. Both nations eventually falter, though, and Italy never gets off the ground due to an effective first-turn Taranto raid and Allied focus on the Middle East. Axis eventually concedes.
