Don't give up. The purpose of failure is to reorient ourselves to the reality of the world and continue on. Believe that you have the capability of progressing toward your goals, and over time you will. Even if the road has a few bumps along the way. This is a recounting of my experience releasing an indie game on steam and mobile platforms called air star. I learned a lot from making this project and failed a lot too. Failure here is defined by my original goals, and the point is not to discourage people, but show a more honest look into the development of a game, and hopefully share some insights so that you don't have to make my mistakes for yourself.
