#snappingturtle #gardenstatetortoise #turtle Just when you think you’ve seen it all, the wonderful world of animals comes and shocks you once again! Meet “Unit”, a massive, extremely overweight snapping turtle that was surrendered to the Pop Corn Park Animal Refuge. Unit was fed a diet exclusively of Friskie’s cat food and well, that’s definitely a very unhealthy way to feed any turtle. Sure, common snapping turtles are supposed to be big and they are in fact one of the largest freshwater turtles in the USA, but they typically are supposed to weigh between 10 and 35 pounds…guess how much Unit weighs? Find out in this video and see how we accept him into the family here at Garden State Tortoise. DONATE TO POP CORN PARK: https://ahs.givecloud.co Want to support Garden State Tortoise?
