FlexiPaste is a real "game-changer" for the sugar artist who normally creates sugar flowers with sugar paste or gumpaste. Nicholas Lodge demonstrates here how to create the popular bridal flower, the gardenia, using FlexiPaste. The very same method and technique shown here could be used in making the gardenia with gumpaste.

FlexiPaste is a starch-based product, not sugar-based, and it resists humidity and remains "flexible" once it is dry, as opposed to gumpaste that dries hard and brittle and is subject to breakage very easily.
