Acid peptic ulcer is most commonly occurs in duodenum and less common present at cardiac end of esophagus. most commonly it is caused by Acid- pepsin imbalance, H-pylori, Imbalance b/w protective and damaging factors of mucosa, bad habits like smoking alcohol, over use of NSAID etc. it is most commonly occurs in female. gastric pain worsen after taking food and pain relived by vomiting. hematemesis and melaena is also seen in some cases. these patient appetite is but but they hesitant to taking food so that loss of weight is also present.
