Cincinnati Eastern Railroad Train On Norfolk Southern Branch Line. Listen To This Geep Notching Up On Grades At The Wye And Between N&W Color Position Lights! CSX Monon Heritage Unit Leading A Long Train In Kentucky. Rare Flashback On Cincinnati Eastern Railroad At The Quarry. First we chase a GP15-1 as it goes over a bridge and up a couple of grades. Listen to the locomotive notching up at 5:20 and 8:45 in this video. Is that awesome or what?! It is pulling grain cars and rock cars on the Cincinnati Eastern Railroad. The track is leased from Norfolk Southern and is the Peavine Line. The train is servicing two customers on the east end of the line. Then we see the CSX Monon Heritage Unit leading a train on the Cincinnati Corbin Line. This is a video that Mrs Tooth filmed and I never used. It was filmed this fall. At the end of the video we have the slide show and a rare video from the east end of the NS Peavine Line at Plum Run, Ohio. This is where CCET works the quarry and stores freight cars. This video was filmed by me before the quarry was opened. It shows 2 SD45 locomotives and a GP49 pulling a train of storage cars. All three of those locomotives are long gone.
