Video Not Working? Fix It Now

During this video I will show you how I make a beautiful mixed media collage using Gelli prints #gelliprint #mixedmedia #collageart |For this video I am developing Gelli prints that I have created is a previous video that you can watch here https://youtu.be/NNxKTG9k3zY?si=SlByKojmMoQuJJxG I have been inspired by the fabulous work of Rex Ray when creating this mixed media collage. I love his use of shape, colour and texture. Watch as I guide you through the process from start to finish of how I have created my mixed media collage, including how I have used my sewing machine to add more detail and texture to my artwork. I have used transfer foil to embellish my mixed media collage. The foil I am using is waste from a local packaging manufacturer, but this is a link to a similar product https://amzn.eu/d/2a2x28Q I am using a basic Janome sewing machine. I am using a standard foot, and have the settings on C (for zig-zag stitch) and 1 for the stitch length. I am using Gutermann thread as I find it is the best for stitching into paper as it doesn't snap. 0:00 Introduction 1:14 Gelli prints from a previous video 2:42 Cutting out shapes from the Gelli prints to create a background 5:41 Using templates from white card 7:15 Using the negative shape as part of the composition 8:24 Take a photograph of your work before deconstructing 8:32 Use a Pritt-Stick to glue down pieces 12:11 Using metallic transfer foil 14:45 Using the sewing machine to outline the shapes 15:52 Zig-zag stitching the central line 16:21 Using Pritt-Stick to glue down the leaf shapes 16: 37 Using zig-zag stitching to outline the shapes 18:24 Final piece revealed If you have enjoyed this video you can see how I use stencils as an alternative way of creating Gelli prints here https://youtu.be/hvA4sMXStPg?si=e37v-kFmgSsyS7-B Please sign up to my Newsletter for more information about in person workshops and my new online course. https://clarecosensdesigns.com/pages/newsletter You can also follow me on Instagram here https://www.instagram.com/c.cosens/
