In this tutorial I'll be demonstrating how to create color swatches from a pixel-based image in Inkscape. To do this we will use Trace Bitmap to grab the colors from the image, then we'll pick the colors we want to keep and add them to the Swatches menu. Then, we can save the document as a template so that you can work with those swatches in the future.
