After a very excited wait, I have been listening to the long-awaited Analogue Productions Atlantic 75 series release of Genesis' 1976 "come back" album A Trick of the Tail.
This absolutely superb new Chris Bellman all-analogue cut is presented on 2x45rpm LPs pressed at the world's number one (in my opinion) pressing plant: QRP.
A Trick of the Tail was in fact the very first album I ever bought, back in 1979. So, just how good is this new cut? I compare the new Analogue Productions release to my 1976 UK Charisma original and also to my 1980s Mobile Fidelity 'Original Master Recording'.
