Around noon on April 3rd, 2023, panic erupted at a small apartment complex in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Dozens of 911 callers and witnesses reported seeing two individuals shoot a woman in the parking lot. When officers arrived, they found 31-year-old Monique Garcia on the ground, shot three times. She would die from her injuries moments later. Fortunately, it didn’t take long for police to find a lead.
