this took me a while to research, compile and edit, but i also had a ton of fun doing it, as it's the subject i really enjoy doing to take a break from looking at numbers and codes and diagrams all day. it was also meant to be wanna one's 3rd anniversary special (and obviously i was really late to the party) as a way to celebrate their work and give appreciation to them as artists and performers. they are the light of my life and i could never ask for a better boy group to stan and ult. i love them so much. 💞💞

1) i am by no means a music expert, just someone who is generally nerdy about music XD this video is made based on my understanding of certain genres, what they sound and their defining characteristics. so there may be some people who would consider so-and-so song as so-and-so genre depending on how one perceives the genre. if i made any mistakes please do not hesitate to kindly let me know! we live and we learn after all and i wanted to hear your civil thoughts too!
2) these songs are NOT the only songs of each respective genres. these are just examples used, so please refrain from commenting "where's so-and-so artist??" in a rude way. instead, you can help suggest more songs of whatever genre you know of in the comments for more to see! keep the comments section a kind environment where we can share some amazing music together~
3) i am also aware that some of these genres in terms of sound and name sometimes overlap. idk i just find the names from this website (https://www.musicgenreslist.com) and research of my own, so i'm just going off whatever fits the genre the best, even if one song sounds like it belongs to another genre. again, do kindly let me know if i made any mistakes.
