I'm like ,,
really really moved and happy rn tbh
I began to think about this map since 2018, and now this is completed ! I'm very proud of this final piece.
Firslty I want to tell a huge thanks to every amazing animators and artists that contributed to this project, this mean a lot to me and see all your support and interest motivated me so much !

Gently Weeps is a map based on the song "While my guitar gently weeps" from the movie "Kubo and the two strings", a cover of the Beatles' song.
I tried in the script, palettes/ concept art and designs to follow the most as I could the idea and the aesthetic of this movie !
(Btw go see it RN if you haven't yet, it deserve waaaay more visibilty, this is a masterpiece !)
I tried to make this story looks like an asian old tale, in a certain way ,,
So, in this map, we follow the story of Leafpool, with the asian aesthetic this song and movie give.
We see her grow up without knowing starclan has already plan for her, and without knowing she ll be trapped in the middle of a huge storm.
All along this map, starclan ll watch her from above, demonstrating their presence by the appaerance of many red asian lanterns in the trees at different moments of the map. Spottedleaf is here too, and like in the books, she has to guide her throught the choices she ll have to make.
After Leafpool makes her choice, starclan end to condemn her, and join the song to sing their curse.
So yeah, here the story of our damned little girl I guess, here you go !
