Video Not Working? Fix It Now

This is a step-by-step tutorial for reverse engineering a broken part using a variety of technologies. Geomagic Design X can help you convert 3D scan data into usable features in SOLIDWORKS. From there you can create drawings or assembly files. This project involved 3D scanning a broken fitting using a Creaform HandyScan Black Elite. Because the part was broken, it needed to be reverse-engineered with the missing piece. A Stratasys Fortus 380mc was used to 3D print a replacement. Nylon carbon fiber material was selected for its strength and stiffness. Find out how these amazing products can improve your reverse engineering process.
