Δημοσίευσε 55 βιβλία για τον εγκέφαλο του ανθρώπου και πειραματόζωων και το μυθιστόρημα Κατ’ Εικόνα. Το πρώτο του βιβλίο «Ο Εγκέφαλος του Αρουραίου σε Στερεοταξικές Συντεταγμένες» είναι το πιο αναφερόμενο έργο στη νευροεπιστήμη. Το βιβλίο του «Άτλαντας του ανθρωπίνου Εγκεφάλου» έλαβε το The Award for Excellence in Publishing in Medical Science, Assoc American Publishers και The British Medical Association Illustrated Book Award.

He published 55 books on the brain of humans and experimental animals and a novel (Κατ΄ Εικόνα). His first book, The Rat Brain in Stereotaxic Coordinates, is the most cited neuroscience publication. His Atlas of the Human Brain won the Association of American Publishers Award for Excellence (1997) and the British Medical Association Illustrated Book Award (2016).
