Every summer, some very special visitors come to Romania: Transylvanian Saxons, part of the German-speaking minority whose roots in this region date back to the Middle Ages. Most of them left the country during the Communist dictatorship but for several years now, they have been returning regularly to their former homeland, some even settling there permanently.
