You can get a beautiful finish on your guitar using some duplicolor spray cans and a 2K clear coat, which also comes in spray cans. You just need to know how to use the two of them together. The best part is, it's actually pretty simple. Many duplicolor paints are acrylic lacquer, and if you let them dry fully you can coat over them with a catalyzed clear coat for an awesome, automotive grade finish.
